and I never know what to say in these things. I’ve always loved being outdoors. From family bike rides to paddling Maligne Lake with my wife and friends. In the last 2 years I have spent entirely too much money on camping equipment and canoes and have no regrets about any of it. I love scouring topo maps for our next canoe trip and learning everything can about where I am and where I want to go.

I am not super great at being an “outdoorsy” person. But nature is where I find rest for my soul and inspiration for my work as a photographer. I will always keep my eyes on the sky when the sun is setting and I have a deep love for people and this place we call home. I believe that the best way to realize how much you love where you live is to explore it and treat even the “ordinary” walks like an adventure. It doesn’t have to be extravagant to be meaningful.
